Cessna Citation CJ3

More size. More speed. More like it.

CJs have always been so intuitive to operate that even veteran aviators are often reminded of why they fell in love with flying in the first place. No matter what you fly now, get ready to fall in love all over again. Today’s CJ3 began with everything that made the series a phenomenal favorite, then took the concept higher, farther and faster than ever before. And in a big way. Prepare yourself for a larger aircraft, more powerful engines, longer wings, a more spacious interior, added standard features, and the category’s most advanced flight deck, ever.

Interior: Especially spacious.

For increased interior comfort, the CJ3 cabin is more than 4 feet (1.22 m) longer than the original CitationJet’s. That’s nearly two feet beyond even the CJ2+‘s. With all that room, even long-legged passengers can stretch out in the plush new seats with ease. The deep-cushioned executive recliners slide fore and aft. And they track inboard toward the aisle to give passengers an extra helping of room, comfort and workspace.

Cessna Cabin

The standard configuration for the CJ3’s 20-ft plus long cabin features a six-place center club arrangement. A refreshment center across from the entry door includes a storage cabinet with adjustable shelves. Fourteen elliptical windows offer exceptional natural lighting throughout the cabin. Optional seating arrangements will accommodate up to eight passengers.

Other Interior Highlights:

The dropped floor aisle gives the feel of a much bigger aircraft costing millions more, while also making the cabin easier to navigate. To supplement the ambient light from the 14 windows, a new LED indirect lighting system provides soft, low-maintenance illumination. Additionally, a new high-capacity cabin-cooling system will both refresh and spoil passengers at the same time.

Standard 110-volt power supply facilitates use of in-flight entertainment, productivity tools and an optional dual DVD entertainment package, including side-ledge monitors. Fax/data port and AirCell® satellite telephone are also options. So even in the sky, you can stay connected to your world. Wherever in the world you find yourself.

Safety: Safe and soundly built.

There are plenty of reasons the Citation fleet of business jets has outsold the combined total of its competition. Many of which are the same reasons cessna have sold more airplanes than anyone else in history. Sure, it’s exceptional performance and payload. Interior comfort, reliability and value. But it’s also about the peace of mind that comes standard with every Cessna aircraft. Because with the Citation fleet, and every aircraft built  at Cessna, safety is always at the forefront.
